Welcome to Epic Raiders. This project started as a group of ideas thrown around the EpiComms forums, for a fan
produced suppliment. A number of people have dedicated their time and effort to this project, and organised by
William the result is an excellent resource for players of Epic Armageddon.
This document is presented in zipped PDF format, for downloading and printing. Any suggestions and comments are always welcomed. So,
have a go with these rules and let us know what you think on the EpiComms boards, in our forum.
Thanks, CyberShadow

A word from the organiser...
Welcome to Epic: Raiders. This document is presented in zipped PDF format for free downloading and printing. The file is considerably
large -over 20Mb- and over 130 pages long (that is almost twice the size of Swordwind). Inside you will find army lists for the
Dark Eldar, Minervan Armored Legion, and Necrons. Open it up, check it out, and have fun!
What is Raiders?
Epic: Raiders is a fan-made supplement for the game Epic: Armageddon and is not official in any way. However a
great deal of effort went into this resource to make the lists fun and balanced. Enclosed is information for building Minervan Armored
Legion, Dark Eldar and Necron army lists. Since models are not available for the latter two, detailed modeling sections are
inside to help you convert these armies.
Can I get a printed copy of Epic: Raiders?
The supplement is already in print and is available for purchase for $25 per copy. The cover is a heavy weight glossy card cover and the
book has a similar weight and feel to the official publications.

Since all of this is fan-run and fan-financed I am accepting orders for the books which will then be run in batches of twenty-five or more
from the printing company Mills Press. This is the minimum number of books I can request for a single run so you may have to wait several
weeks for your copy to be printed or you may only wait a few days, depending on demand of course. After less than seven weeks,
seventy-five copies of Raiders were sold and the response was favorable. Of course you may print it yourself if you
wish – the choice is yours.

Legal Issues
While I am not an attorney, Epic: Raiders seems to comply with all of Games-Workshop's Intellectual Property (IP) guidelines.
This is a non-profit effort and proceeds from the sale of the books go to the American Cancer Society. I have emailed GW Legal Department
about my efforts and have even hand-delivered a copy of the book to Jervis Johnson himself.
Playing and Playtesting
As the army champs for the three lists within Raiders, Corey and I will be leaving them alone for a year. We encourage you to play the
lists as they are printed, post battle reports, and discuss as always. While you should not expect immediate change, your opinions are
being listened to I can assure you. Be aware that, like any list, your experience from one game to the next can vary greatly and as such
you should trust in your fellow gamers that the lists are balanced fairly well. Only after many games from multiple players against
different opponents should changes be considered.
Final Thoughts
Please make sure to read through the credits page as over fifty people contributed in some way to making this book a reality. Do feel
free to post any thoughts, criticisms, requests, and questions. If you are using the modeling section(s) I would love to see your
work - be sure to post pictures to this forum and show them off.
Take care, enjoy, and may fortune favor the foolish.
