Games Workshop Links

Portent
Portent is the place to find information about Games Workshop and its miniatures - including rumours and discussions. An excellent site.
Fanatic
A sub-division of Games Workshop responsible for the older and 'less popular' games produced. A special mention goes to them as they are slowly reviving these games and bringing life back into them - much to many peoples relief. This is also the place to download the latest rules additions and check out the new releases.
The 40,000 Dropship
Another excellent site, with a heavy leaning towards Epic. Well worth a visit!
The GW Gateway
Probably one of the better gateway sites around, linking you to many web pages and sites on pretty much anything you can imagine in the GW hobby.
Games Workshop
The huge company that has become Games Workshop, and spawned many of the games that we play and love.
The Warp
An absolutely huge site, that you can easily get lost in. And a load of other sites hosted as well.
The Realm of Inisfail
Largely devoted to Tyranids of all scales, this has the most bug info I have seen.
Dark Millennia
A great general 40K site. Worth a visit for the Galaxy Map alone.
Kusters Warhammer World
A nice site which includes both Epic and Gothic, and has some great pictures of miniatures and games.
Shadow's Blood Angels
The home of Sheldons Blood Angel force. The site currently concentrates on 40K, but should expand to include Battlefleet Gothic soon.

Epic Links

Epic 40K.com
I guess that we are now neighbours, so pop over to this site (dealing with Epic 40K exclusively) and check it out. Tell them that we sent you.
Laitus Prime Tribune
A very professional looking site with articles available in both English and French.
The Epicenter
A great Epic site, and the hub of the NetEpic project - a more detailed set of Epic rules taking inspiration from previous versions. This makes it a good source of information for newer players. The Incoming webzine is also here. Well worth a visit.
The Epicollector
This site has a very useful catalogue of Epic models, for those of you who buy via internet and want to know what you are getting.
The Official Epic Site
Since the concept of Epic Armageddon was unleashed, Fanatic have been running the Epic web site containing information about the development of the game, official forums and pictures of up and coming minis, as well as the latest version of the the playtest rules and army lists to download and try out.
Epic Armageddon Reference Sheets
A place where the current official lists and playtest lists for Epic Armageddon have been collected together and converted into PDF format. Essential for players of the game, and a great resource.

Battlefleet Gothic

Port Maw
One of the longest running, and most active, Battlefleet Gothic sites on the web. It deals mainly with a huge number of fan constructed ship stats and models, and also has an active forum. So, if you need inspiration for an addition to your fleet, or want to find out what other people are doing, this is the place.
Warmancer
A developing hobby page featuring a number of Games Workshop games as well as Clan War, and a larger section on Battlefleet Gothic.
The Golgotha Spiral
This site is run by Bob, who is a self-confessed addict. His games are set in a parallel universe to the established Games Workshop 40K one, but his site contains new rules, new ships and modelling workshops and ideas. There is, quite simply, a wealth of information here.
Blackstone Six
One of the best Gothic sites out there with a host of things for the game. Very professionally done, this site has many articles on a variety of aspects of the Gothic, most backed up with very well painted miniatures.
The Pirate Base
An up-and-coming Battlefleet Gothic site, also dealing with 40K, but with some useful and interesting content and downloads. One to keep an eye on.

General Wargaming

The Wargames Directory
A huge site, catering for wargames of all types and periods, and including traders, galleries of miniatures and 'real life' pictures and links to sets of rules for a load of different types of game. For people who just want to browse and see what is out there.
The Wargames Market
A dedicated trading site for the wargames community. Buy or sell, all items are arranged in logical categories.

Scenery and Terrain

TerraGenesis
An excellent site dealing with a huge variety of projects and environments to build, which can add considerably to your tabletop wargames.

Painting and Modelling

Doctor Faust's Painting Clinic
An excellent page, dealing with actually putting these lumps of plastic and metal into some vague sense of colour and representation. Great for the 'artistically challenged' like myself.
The Mercenary Brush
The founder of www.epic40k.com has moved on to a number of projects, including painting for commission. There is not much that I can say about this site that you cant find out for yourselves. The quality is excellent (I have seen minis 'live') and the rates very reasonable. Check it out if you have more minis than time.

Gaming Groups and Clubs

Ignorant Armies
The Ignorant Armies guys are a group of weekend wargamers in Edmonton, Alberta. A developing site which is coming on very nicely and is certainly worth a visit, especially if you happen to live in the area.
