Games 2004 rolled around again on October 3rd 2004, and this year EpiComms put in quite a show with a handful of members scouting out the event. stormseer was there, camera in hand, to capture the flavour of the event. So, over to him...

Gamesday 2004 - it seemed bigger and more crowded than ever!

Lots of great new stuff previewed for Epic and the other Specialist Games - incuding the new Battle of Five armies game. Of particular note for Epic were the superb Eldar superheavies, Avatar and Revenant, the new Ork trukks, massive Squiggoth and Steam Gargant.... New Ratskins and Skavvies for Necromunda are coming soon, and their model range looks excellent.

The Battle of Five Armies box comes with plastic hills which may interest Epic players, along with the sets of ruins. Several new models are also coming soon for BFG - the Terminus Est (a mod of the Despoiler basically), and a few other 'character' ships...

The FW and Fanatic seminars were packed, and Tony C once again presented FW's in his own inimitable style! The new Tyranid bio-titan was the thing that stood out for me - it has a very insectile, menacing look to it...

FW's amazing remote contolled 1/6th scale Baneblade was trundling around in the middle of the arena, complete with sound effects- very impressive!

Congratulations to Paul 'Tuffskull' .T from the forums for winning the Fanatic Ball and Chain prize for his Golden Demon entry- great job!
