The Imperial fleet continued its battle plan. The Glorious reloaded its launch bays in preparation for releasing another wave of attack craft, but the Furious failed its reload order leadership test. The fleet moved forward as one, however while the three Dictator carriers executed a second turn to Port.

The two fleets were still out of range and so the only other action was for the Glorious to deploy another wave of Starhawk bombers, which joined the rest around the carriers.

The Chaos fllet also repeated the actions of last turn. The Sariel managed to reload its launch bays and entire fleet pushed forwards at top speed, the advance group making a turn to take them around the asteroid field. In the ordnance phase, a second wave of four Swiftdeath fighter wings was ejected into the void and took up a position just behind the fleet so that they would be able to react to any attacks as quickly as possible.

On the bridge of the Furious, Johanson stared intently at the tactical display, trying to associate the movement of the icons across the screen in some way with his own future, and even existance. It was very easy to generate a detached air about the procedings, and only the experienced crew members had any idea that this was in any way real.

As he watched, the Imperial fleet stayed close together, giving mutual support, while the Chaos fleet approached ever closer. Commander Wilks barked more co-ordinates to the helmsman, and the icons representing the three fleet carriers peeled off in unison on the display.

A new icon appeared around their position as the Glorious released more bombers to join those already circling the carriers. Johanson was impressed, the Glorious had managed to reload and dispatch bombers faster than its two sister ships, the teams must be extremely well rehersed. The expression on Commander Wilks' face changed for a split second as a rue smile crossed it, and Johanson realised that he must have been thinking the same thing.
